free nursing cover from Udder Covers

Published by msanchezmasi under freebies, shopping Edit This

Much as I hate the name of this company, I dearly wished for a nursing cover when I was breastfeeding.  Yes, you can use a blanket, but Hurricane Eva ripped that off as soon as she learned to coordinate her hands, once exposing me during Florida State University’s college graduation ceremony.  But I digress.

Uddercovers is offering $32 off of anything in their store - nursing covers are $32, and sets with breast pads and nursing bracelets are $37. You pay shipping, which was $8.95 to my area - not a bad price for a nursing cover in a cute print.

Use code “backorder1″ after selecting your merchandise. No word on how long this offer is good, so shop quickly!

go see Up! for free!

Published by msanchezmasi under freebies Edit This

Target currently has a deal where you get a free ticket to Up! when you purchase select Disney/Pixar movies for $13.99.  (you have to buy a specially marked movie and use the pull-off tag on the front to get your certificate, which you then print out.  it’s much easier than it sounds.)

Check out Cheaper By the Dozen and Get One Free’s post here to see how you can also get a $5 rebate when you buy two packs of Rayovac batteries (my Target just started stocking these in the dollar section again).

THEN, join Disney Movie Rewards and enter both your code from the DVD and your ticket to the movie to accumulate points which you can submit for Disney stuff.

Really, not a bad deal!

I’ve blogged before about how much I love my local True Value Hardware store, but I’ll do it again.

It’s clean, organized and I can always find someone to help me.

This sale begins tomorrow (May 20) and goes through May 25.

I haven’t found the coupon online, but there IS a coupon for $5 off a $25 purchase here.

free Sam’s Club membership (one day)

Published by msanchezmasi under freebies Edit This

There’s always debate in the blogosphere about whether or not a warehouse membership is “worth it.”

Here’s my take:

The produce at my Sam’s Club is generally cheaper and fresher than the produce at my local grocery stores (beating their prices by at least a dollar, plus there’s no waste). I buy: bananas, strawberries, blueberries, avocados and red peppers. These are all things my family uses on a pretty much weekly basis.

My favorite carpet cleaner, Spot Shot, is at least $1.50 cheaper at Sam’s Club. Sadly, we go through lots of Spot Shot with pets, a toddler and beige carpet that will be replaced just as soon as my ship comes in.

Tortillas are about $1.50 cheaper. Since Hurricane Eva pretty much only eats protein in bean form, we eat a lot of tortillas.

Good booze (think: wine and hard liquor) is way cheaper at Sam’s Club. We entertain a lot. Enough said.

Gas is at least 5 cents cheaper at Sam’s Club.

Plus, the gas and time I save NOT running all over town for these weekly staples is worth a lot.

Want to try out Sam’s in your area? Go here and print a free one-day membership, usable through May 25.

Thanks to Money Saving Mom for the heads up!

Village Inn makes me think of being in college and drinking way too much coffee.

And of being a little tipsy and eating french fries.

And of pie. Dear heavens, the pie.

Click here to get a coupon for a free slice of pie with the purchase of an adult entree (through May 31). Nostalgia is free.(my old faves? Lemon Merengue and French Silk.)

$25 Aveda freebie

Published by msanchezmasi under freebies Edit This

Go here to join Aveda’s birthday club and get a swanky free gift for your birthday.  You’ll get a free personal blend Pure Fume or Body Care product. Aveda products are some of my favorites, but they’re so pricey that I frequently have to skip them. For this, they’ll actually send you a postcard so you don’t have to think about it when you’re busy celebrating.

Enjoy!

(and thanks to Frugal Freebies & Deals for the tip!)
