a little help with your shopping…
I’ve already blogged my love-hate relationship with coupons in my last coupon giveaway. This week, I’ll be focusing a lot on cheap entertainment for the family, per several requests AND doing another coupon giveaway.
Why am I giving away so many coupons? Well, for starters, I’ve been able to raid my in-laws’ newspaper ads so I have lots of extras. Also, I’m experimenting for the next week or two with shopping in my pantry and freezer, so I won’t be heading to the store too much. (this is a great economical tip - shop at home! see what you already have hidden in the depths of your freezer & pantry!)
I don’t know about you, but while I’m saving up for the big upright freezer to go in the garage (insert sound of me salivating over the potential to have so much freezer space), things get lost pretty easily in my small freezer. Sounds hard to believe, but it’s true. I am no good at organizing a small freezer space. I’ve tried. I suck at it.
And, when I’m not reminding myself how lucky I am to have a pantry, I’m struggling to organize that too. See, my pantry shelves are deep, so things in the back get lost. I’ve slowly started to invest in shelving updates but get irritated by that too, because there isn’t anything JUST RIGHT. (I really can’t stand spending money on things that don’t exactly solve my problem.)
However, my anticipation of spring has led to some much-needed spring cleaning in the pantry and freezer area, and I’m going to be putting together meals based on the bounty already found here at home.
As a result, I have another $110 (and change) coupon giveaway! To enter, leave a comment telling me how you get your coupons - do you subscribe to the paper? trade with friends? do you just skip the whole thing?
For an extra entry (each), subscribe to Mama Says Mine or blog the giveaway (make sure you add the link to your blog post so I can check!). This giveaway will end at midnight, Sunday March 8 and I’ll announce a winner Monday morning.
Good luck!

I hit the sunday paper as well as the internet for my coupons!
We subscribe to the Sunday paper, plus I check CouponMom.com and print online coupons periodically. Cutting out coupons is actually kind of relaxing - but it’s frustrating when I don’t keep up and end up with lots of expired ones!
I buy the Sunday paper!
I’d love the chance to win! I’m a fairly new couponer but I’ve begun to just print the ones I can find online. And I love it! Thanks again!
I’ve just started serious couponing since discovering CVS and its making me crazy but I love it! I must be a Masochist! I get my coupons from the Sunday paper and print some off the internet. My mom gives me her extras too!
I use coupons faithfully, and subscribe to some frugal blos. I am in AWE of these girls, they save so much. I’m learning as much as I can so I can save weekly too.
We don’t get the paper anymore (a little bit sad about that) so most of my coupons come from Kroger (Love the personalized ones!), online, and from baby ‘clubs’ like Huggies and Pampers. Also do a little trading on Baby Cheapskate’s coupon trading site.
We don’t get the paper, either, so most of my coupons come via the Internet. I’ve also signed up for some free mailers.
I subscribe to the newspaper and get most of my coupons that way. I also get extas from my father and print some off the internet.
My sweet hubby brings us the Sunday paper home when he gets off work and I nab the coupon flyers from there, I’ve discovered “All You” at Walmart and have my hubby buys me that also, the majority of my coupons come from offline and from getting free samples. Altho our Sunday paper doesn’t seem to carry the best insert and there is usually only one. I have started networking tho and asking siblings and friends to send me theirs if they aren’t going to use them.
i have a sunday subscription, but I usually buy an extra paper and every few months my sister gives me her unused coupons. we rely so much on coupons these days..these would be a great addition! and i have the exact problem with my pantry except mine is 2 shelves above the washer and one above the dryer and super deep…i actually convinced my husband to move a 6 ft bookcase into the kitchen for extra(and easier) storage:) good luck with your cleaning and thanks!

I get my coupons from our Sunday newspaper or from mailing flyers. Lately I haven’t been able to build up my coupon box the coupons have been really scarce.

I clip coupons from the sunday paper then I go to visit my mom and steal all her coupons, (she even tried to hide them from me once, the nerve! LOL!)…and I swap with my girlfriend! I also like to request coupons online, but only the ones they can mail to me because I used to print out online coupons, however none of the supermarkets up here take them anymore.
Thanks for letting us know about your contest, I did kind of blog about it already! Good luck, I hope you have a great response!
