pamper your waistline!
If there’s one thing that every weight loss plan has in common, it’s that being aware of portion size is key, right? And, sad as it may seem, measuring your food helps with that. Internet, I do not love the idea of measuring my food, but I also do not like the idea of going back to wearing my fat clothes. So, if you’re in the same boat (or simply like to bake, because if there’s one thing we’ve all learned from watching Top Chef, it’s that pastries are an exact science and measuring accurately is part of science), this is the giveaway for you. I’m giving away Pampered Chef’s Easy Adjustable Measuring Cup, which I love love love even for the loathsome task of measuring my food. To enter, leave a comment with your favorite healthy eating tip before January 15 (US residents only, unfortunately).

My healthy eating tip is don’t eat after 8pm. It really helps with the late night munchies, if I’m hungry then it is bedtime!
hide the junk! if i open the fridge and see sweets and junk food thats what i grab. if i see yogurt and fruit and veg, i am more likely to choose those.
Type different motivational quotes that inspire you and tape a new one to your bathroom mirror every week. That way you start off in the right direction.
I love Pampered Chef Products! I don’t have the measuring cup but it would come in so handy! My healthy eating tip is to eat breakfast everyday so I’m not starving by lunchtime.
Thanks for the chance to win!

I have found that limiting (not cutting out) my carbs has made a huge difference. Also, everything in moderation becuase it is ok to have dessert just not every night!
I mindlessly eat 2nd and 3rd helpings of things. I have to ask my family to hold me accountable and gently remind me when I reach for more without thinking.
I refuse to buy any junk food for in my house… so when I’m hungry for it, I don’t have it available to just chow down. This has helped tremendously!
My favorite healthy eating tip…eat at home. (that way you cut the meat/starch/sodium all at once!)
My family are BIG snackers, so instead of buying the “quick grab junk”, I replaced it all w/veggie and fruit tray in the frig!! What a hit that was!! Keeping bottle h2O in there too is easy for them to grab instead of cans of soda!
This is fantastic! A great tip for healthy lunching is to prepare and bag it the night before, then you won’t feel the need to run out to the nearest fast food joint!
Keep a food diary! Make sure you are aware of every little thing you put in your mouth. It’s a huge wake-up call.
Great contest & blog!
I would say my best healthy tip would be portion control. I eat off a kid’s size plate, don’t go back for seconds, and usually go to bed feeling better than I used to. I used to eat so much (I just love food.) that I would have to take a zantac nearly every night because I was so full!
Another tip would be to don’t drink your calories! Tons of drinks are full of empty calories, I choose water all the time. I love to put lemon and lime in mine, so it’s not so boring!
When I feel hungry I grab a big glass of water!!! I hope you pick me.
When I am hungry I usually drink a big glass of water before I eat and that helps a lot.
I would love to win.
I like to pre-cook casseroles for the freezer so that I am not tempted to eat out. It’s so easy to just pull something out of the freezer instead of stopping by Wendy’s.
To not buy desert… if it’s not in the house I can’t eat it, just want it! Thanks
My favorite tip is to eat 6 small meals per day.
My healthy eating tip is actually from the book Skinny Bitch - get rid of one bad habit a week. Currently working on giving up soda.
Instead of eating junk food at night, eat a bowl of cereal…sweet and crunchy…does the trick!
Drink lots of water. It’s filling and very good to stay hydrated.
Never go grocery shopping on an empty stomach. If you do you’ll find a lot more unhealthy impulse items in your cart…
oh! i love this!! my tip is having steel cut oats for breakfast every day. gives me energy i need to get the day started and keeps me satisfied longer than a bowl of cereal
My tip is to cut out snacking after dinner. Drink decaf tea or water instead. Thanks!
I open large packages and put small amounts in separate baggies. When I want a snack I know I’m not going to overeat.
I like to make my lunch for the next day as I clean up the kitchen from dinner. I can plan my meal better and avoid the morning rush out the door grabbing junk or nothing at all leaving me to buy fast food
I dont have any help or tips. I need help.
Thanks for the giveaway. I am now writing everything down and it’s shocking!
We eat off of small plates and try to eat pleanty of fruits and veggies!
We eat smaller meals more frequently & end up eating less!
My tip is to keep nuts or cheese sticks, or some other healthy snack food in the house. That way I can still grab a few nuts or a bite when I want, but it is something better than m&ms or something.
Drink lots of water and keep moving.
fill up on water first!!
my tip is to chew sugar free gum instead of snacking on sugary stuff:) thanks!
Drink a glass of water before a meal. You will feel more full and eat less!
Use cooking spray, like pam for sauteeing your food.

My best tip is to pre-package snacks into individual size portions. I have a tendency to eat until the package is empty, so this way I don’t overeat.
Snack on healthy nuts. They are filling.
Portions…it’s all about portions…if only we didn’t have so many portions!
My healthy tip is portion control. The second is MOVE IT!
Drink lots of water and less soda!
I try to eat less because I already exercise regularly.
I buy wheat germ and ground flax seed to add a healthy boost to everything from meatloaf to pancakes!
Ok, so I have wanted this for so long and couldn’t really afford it so I went out and bought a generic one - BIG MISTAKE. Seriously, you can’t skimp on quality! Thanks for a great giveaway!
Oops! My favorite tip is to eat small meals. Basically, I try to eat like my 2 year old…lol.
My healthy eating tip is to cut up veggies and portion into snack size baggies. When you are in need of a quick snack, you can grab some veggies to snack on instead of a high calorie item.
My healthy eating tip is to learn to love oatmeal. . . it’s good for you, cheap, & feels like comfort food.
My healthy tip is to try to eat organic, fresh local food whenever possible.
I eat anything and everything I want just in small portions and add just a few extra vegetables to fill the plate.
